The Steinbeis Research Institute for Solar and Sustainable Thermal Energy Systems Solites started the new internet platform saisonalspeicher.de. The new website offers today’s available information about seasonal thermal energy storage and offers a unique extend of knowledge about this subject.
The website www.saisonalspeicher.de is based on a theoretical biennial conception and development phase. During this process Solites cooperated with the Stuttgart Media University (HdM) for including new concepts, web-technologies and the latest knowledge management know-how. The unique design impresses with its special functionality, shape and coloring: Six topics, six colors, six navigations, six thematic sections, filled up with precise contents.
In December the information portal went online. An accompanying study is consistently following the project in order to further develop the concept. With saisonalspeicher.de, comprehensive, precise and reliable information about seasonal thermal energy storage is available for local communities, energy providers, construction companies and other interested parties from the energy sector.
The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) under the management of Project Management Jülich (PTJ).
