ABOUT US

As a part of the German Ritter Group, one of the world´s leading companies in the solar thermal industry, Ritter XL Solar is responsible for development, distribution, design and construction of large-scale solar thermal systems. Ritter’s XL solar systems provide temperatures up to120 °C at high efficiency not only in summer but also at lower outside temperatures. This opens a wide range of applications in the field of district heating grids, especially solar retrofitting of existing networks at higher net temperatures. Further applications are industrial processes and chillers for solar cooling. Ritter XL Solar has developed the unique so called “AquaSystem” which offers a wide range of advantages compared to standard solar systems. Evacuated tube collectors, water as heat transfer fluid as well as valve free collector fields guarantee low maintenance costs at high solar yields. Over 200 XL systems with a gross area up to
3,400 m² are in operation by now, including some of the largest evacuated tube collector plants worldwide.
